I'm ...Thank you Debby for your gentle response. I'm sorry you were worried. I tend to be fairly fatalistic about my own well being - to the frustration of my friends!

My house is OK Rob. The Fraemohs design seems to stand up well to quakes. It flexes a lot (hence all the shattering) and makes a dreadful noise, but it hangs together. How are you and your family? I can't help thinking, as I look over towards Mts Herbert and Bradley, of Kaitangata Twitch. Rūamoko has stirred!Jane Robertsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03420485615132391496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-235749018918182184.post-88729726355972623222011-03-04T13:31:23.617+13:002011-03-04T13:31:23.617+13:00Great to hear you are ok, Jane. Had another good hint by your XXXXXXX on her blog:-)

the butterfly----

your descriptions of the damage/ the realities of basic survival needs---

the emotional impact of your eloquent words--and what's important---

the irony of those with distant perspective knowing more than you did----yes the pictures and stories we received have been heart wrenching from the beginning---and seemed more real than most disaster reports because of our recent blog connections---

but none more real than your portrayal of your car trip and all it revealed---

your vivid painting in words of your kitchen floor--no photo needed!

I give thanks for your safekeeping----and send well-wishes for the long clean-ups ahead of you and yours.dkmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04322142359551595275noreply@blogger.com
