Filming of Margaret Mahy's Kaitangata Twitch outside She Cafe in Governor's Bay. The crew has been working in and around the Bay (where Margaret lives) over several weeks, most dramatically out on the cliff end of Manson's Point.I am interested in my own reaction - curiosity about the filming process and a certain parochial pride that all this is happening in Governor's Bay! Makes me realise that, while we are all consumers of film, we have little, if any exposure to its making. Fantasy and reality intersect in one's own back yard!
