I look for faces in our patterned bedroom wallpaper. There's three of them - one looks like a bunny and the other two are quite scary. I feel like I'm constantly being watched! hehe
It's interesting. When I was small I always used to look for the same shape in the lino on the toilet floor. Looked like our spaniel. I like the way we humans look for patterns and create them out of randomness...
I live in Governors Bay in Lyttelton Harbour, over the hill from the city of Christchurch. The harbour is my turangawaewae. I have a large garden planted in natives, vegetables and fruit trees, with (currently) 15 hens. My career background is in secondary and tertiary teacher education. Now I research and write from home in a magical environment and travel as often as I can.
