Two days of southerly winds, driving rain, extreme cold and snow across the harbour on Mts Herbert and Bradley.
Bad?
Only when it comes to feeding the chooks and Rosie. Otherwise a great excuse for baking and then sitting in front of the fire, with the cats and/or friends, reading and eating!
I live in Governors Bay in Lyttelton Harbour, over the hill from the city of Christchurch. The harbour is my turangawaewae. I have a large garden planted in natives, vegetables and fruit trees, with (currently) 15 hens. My career background is in secondary and tertiary teacher education. Now I research and write from home in a magical environment and travel as often as I can.
